Rules and Regulations
1. The risk of injury from the activities involved in this program is significant, including the potential for permanent paralysis and death, and while particular rules, equipment and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious injury does exist; and, 2. I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation; and, 3. I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation. If however I observe any unusual significant hazard during my presence or participation, I will remove myself from participation and bring such to the attention of the nearest official immediately; and, 4. , for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assign, personal representatives and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS Bart Marcoux, his officers, officials, agents and/or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and, if applicable owners and leasers of premises used to conduct the event (“Releases”). WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL INJURY, DISABILITY, DEATH, or loss or damage to person or property, WHETHER CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE. I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING IT, AND SIGN IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT UNDUCEMENT.
* slapshots not to be used while in front of another skater,
* We may not all be friends on the ice, but you conduct yourself on the ice as though you are, help others up, apologize for collisions, be aware of other skaters on the ice, understand, they all have to go to work at the end of the game, unecessary injuries are not a welcome result in our game!
* fighting and arguing are not tolerated, this is a fun skate with some friendly competition. If you can not resolve an issue with a fellow skater, it is to be taken to myself or my partner Tracy Sanford for review. We reserve the right to remove you from the ice if this rule is ignored. As well we reserve the right to revoke your spot without the possibility of being reimbursed for your money if you intentionally hurt, fight or repetively argue or become a catalyst in more than one outing.
* All the players that play in my league will be provided with a fun and competitive outing and not have to suffer the inconvenience of ignorant participants and will get a professional level of service at all times. I appreciate ANY feedback or advice at anytime with an open mind.
